What we collect

Your email, name, birthdate, photo link, short bio, your answers to the 20 questions, your location while the app is open, your messages, call durations, minute purchases, and reports or complaints you send.

Why

To find compatible people near you, show your age and distance, run chats and calls, keep track of call minutes, and keep the community safe.

Who sees what

Other members see your name, age, bio and distance. During testing, your photo unlocks after one minute of talking together; the normal threshold is one hour. Your exact location and email are never shown. Calls run through our call provider (Daily.co) and payments through Stripe; we don't record calls.

Your rights

When reporting a member, you can optionally share your conversation with ListenLove admins. This option is off by default. Only if you opt in, a copy of both people’s messages up to the report is saved for admin review; future messages and voice calls are not included. Unmatching removes your chat but does not remove reports or copies already shared. Deleting your account removes reports involving your account and their shared copies.

You can view and change your information in the app, and delete your account at any time, which removes your data. For other questions, use the complaints form in the app.

Child safety

Our published standards on child sexual abuse and exploitation are at /csae. Reports about minors are handled first and may be shared with the police or a child-safety reporting organisation.
